How does the Enneagram hold up against other personality systems?

There are many personality systems out there that provide opportunities for growth and development. Whatever system you find that can give you insight into your patterns and behaviours is the system for you! The Enneagram has an incredible depth to it that includes important pieces like motivation, communication style, decision-making differentiators and dominant emotional centre. On the surface, it appears to be the same labeling system as other models but the further you dig, the more you will begin to realize the Enneagram is less of a personality system and more of a tool on how to be human. Is there a test I can take to learn my Enneagram number?

One of the most accurate tests available is the Compass Test, created by the CP Enneagram Academy and available through the shop. For the best results, combining this test with an individual coaching session with a certified Enneagram coach provides a fuller picture of your Enneagram type. The test offers a solid foundation, while the coaching session delves deeper into your core motivations, challenges, and growth opportunities to support your self-awareness journey and ensure a clear understanding of your type.
